What is the “Online Trading Voucher” and how can it help my salon grow?”

The “trading online voucher” is a support scheme set up by the local enterprise offices across Ireland (LEO).  

It provides funding and support to businesses to grow and develop an online presence, through a website or a marketing campaign, which will help your salon attract new clients to your business and help boost your sales with an online shop. 

The online trading voucher was designed to help businesses either get online or to grow their presence online and increase their income opportunities.

To be successfully approved for an online trading voucher you must meet the following criteria:

Have less than 10 employees

  • Be trading for at least 6 months

  • Have a turnover of less than €2 million 

  • Apply to your local enterprise office where your business is located. 


How does the online trading voucher work?

The local enterprise office will provide you with with 50% of the cost of your overall project, (up to €2,500). For every €1 you invest they will give you half back.   This is an amazing opportunity for salons to grow their businesses online with a new website, booking system or a digital marketing strategy.

What can the trading voucher be used for?

  • Website design or updates

  • Adding an online booking system or for payment of an online booking system

  • Digital marketing campaigns

  • Social Media Marketing

  • Paid advertising 

  • Seo 

  • Photography or videography shoots

    If you have already applied for the online trading voucher before you can apply again!! Businesses who have availed of this previously can apply again if they want to develop a further online presence.
